Mo's Challenge #30

I made this card for Mo's challenge #30. "Include rain or suggest water" in the project. The image is from Mo's digital pencil http://digitalpenciltoo.com and is called "Windowseat". Papers are all from S.U. designer paper and Choc.Chip cardstock. Ribbon is from P.T.I. Brads flowers and acetate are from stash.
This is a close up of the detail. I put drops of crystal laquer on the back side of the acetate to look like rain before I attached it to the window frame. The sky was sponged, and the little girl was colored with copics and water color pencils. The curtains and bedding were paper-pieced from S.U. DP. She looks so cozy as she cuddles up in her windowseat on a dark rainy day.

  9. I think it is one of the most amazing cards I've seen lately. The way you have captured the feeling of cosy evening is just unreal, I so envy you! And the rain behind the window is so realistic! You should make a tutorial about how to achieve that effect!
