This is the "Party Cake" I received as a freebie. Cute, Cute, Cute!! I printed it several times and layered it and blinged it up..... put the cake on a lacy tablecloth..... and put it on an Easel card! Close up below.
Paper is all S.U. as is the sentiment. Lace is from Joann's. Ribbon is from PTI. I dotted "very vanilla" cardstock with polka dots. Gems are from my good old stash. I frosted the cake with Copics, Stickles and I used iridescent white mist fabric writer by "Scribbles" for the icing on top of the 2 large layers. I cut out and layered the flowers on top and added some very thin wire that I spiraled around a toothpick and glued it into the top with crystal glaze between the flowers. It's the tiniest cake I've ever decorated at a whopping 2 1/2 inches tall from plate to the tippy top! I'm sure I'll be decorating this little cake many different ways on future projects.
Thanks for this adorable image Nina! Here's Nina's blog address if you'd love to take a look-see at all the wonderful talent... http://theresmagicintheair.blogspot.com/
